MIKE TRESSLER
Prior to joining Healthia Consulting, Mike was the Data Warehouse Practice Director for a consulting organization where he was responsible for strategic direction, sales support and account and staff management for all data warehousing related consulting services.
From 1996 to 1998, Mike held several manager and director-level positions at ValueRx, a pharmaceutical benefit management firm that was later purchased by Express Scripts. He began his career at ValueRx as Project Manager and was promoted to Director of Decision Support Systems where he was credited with creating a new data warehousing team. In September 1997, Mike was promoted to Senior Director of Knowledge Systems where he was responsible for all data warehouse related systems and support for the $1.6 billion healthcare company. Mike also managed the integration of systems when ValueRx was acquired by Express Scripts.
From 1988 to 1996, Mike held several roles as project manager, business analyst and systems analyst for organizations in the healthcare and financial services industries.
Mike is actively involved with the national Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and has earned Fellow HIMSS member status. He has also held board roles as Secretary of the Colorado HIMSS chapter and as Advocacy Liaison for the Minnesota HIMSS chapter. Mike has received national recognition for his expertise in data warehousing in healthcare and has presented at seminars for The Data Warehousing Institute and the HIMSS National Conference.
Mike received his B.S. in Computer Science from North Dakota State University.
