PHARMACY SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANT
The Pharmacy Systems Implementation Consultant would be responsible for implementing pharmacy information systems at Healthia Consulting's hospital clients. A variety of project roles and responsibilities would be available depending on level of prior experience. These would include roles such as project manager, project lead and applications analyst and responsibilities such as workflow reengineering, system customization or build, training, testing, go live support and system optimization. The Consultant will also work with pharmacists, physicians and pharmacy technicians to understand pharmacy operational workflow, study patient flow, and make recommendations for process improvements based on evidence-based medical practices.
Successful candidates would have a background in pharmacy information systems implementation. Also considered would be pharmacy information systems user experience and professional training in pharmacy operations such as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. Ideal candidates would prior consulting experience in a pharmacy work environment, pharmacy system implementation and understand pharmacy and hospital workflow.
Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of healthcare processes and principles and be results-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and practical.
